We are a group of experienced angel investors and business operators that have decades of experience in building, selling, and investing in early stage companies across industries and geographies. Our global network of investors, business partners, and contacts extends across North America, Europe, and Asia, providing us with broad perspective and access to resources that enable us to add value to the companies we work with.

We believe there is a large segment of great entrepreneurs and businesses being overlooked in the marketplace - typically led by women, minorities, entrepreneurs without prior successes, or those without elite academic/professional pedigree. Female founders received only 2.2% of total VC funding in 2017, up from 1.9% in 2016. We think this should be significantly higher. By leveraging our diverse networks that reach far outside of the traditional VC circles, we identify and partner with talented, passionate, mission-driven entrepreneurs to help them take their businesses to the next level.
We bring a highly analytical, research-driven approach to early stage investing. While we do consider the market opportunity and marketability of the founders to be important, we take diligence a step further by analyzing the competitive landscape in depth, seeking to understand the industry dynamics, the company's relative positioning, and developing our own vision for how the market will play out.
We believe making the investment is where our work begins, not ends. We add value by placing ourselves in the founders' shoes, and proactively developing what we think is the best strategy for the company. We then work closely with the founders to evaluate different possible alternatives and determine the best course of action every step of the way.
By taking a hands-on, active approach, we seek to be the best possible partner to our portfolio companies while delivering superior returns to our investors.
